Lecturers in Art:
The Department of Art at California State University, Stanislaus is seeking applications to establish a pool of part‑time lecturers. Positions will be available as needed and funded during the Fall and Spring semesters. An eligibility roster of qualified part‑time faculty will support future needs in the following foundation‑level studio areas: sculpture, drawing, painting, digital media, and printmaking.
Applicants must possess an MFA in visual arts such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, video and time‑based media, and/or graphic design.
Preferred QualificationsTwo years of college‑level teaching experience.

- A short statement of teaching philosophy.
- A single PDF showing 20 images of the candidate’s own work with information including medium, size and year, and 20 images of the artwork of prior students.
- Unofficial copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts.
Compensated commensurate with qualifications and experience. Newly hired lecturers with terminal degrees are placed in Range 3 of the salary schedule; others are normally placed in Range
2. Starting salaries are usually at or near the minimum of the range.
