POSITIONTemporary lecturers in Mathematics:
The Department invites applications for a pool of part‑time teaching appointments. Selected candidates will teach one or a combination of non‑calculus‑based lower division mathematics courses.
Teach assigned lower division mathematics courses, prepare instructional materials, and assess student performance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- A Master’s degree or equivalent in mathematics, mathematics education, or a related field.
- Prior successful teaching experience at the college level (preferred).
- Experience teaching lower division mathematics courses.
- Active engagement in curriculum development.

COMPENSATIONSalary is based on qualifications and experience. Newly hired lecturers with terminal degrees are placed in Range 3 of the salary schedule and others in Range 2. Starting salaries are at or near the minimum of the range. Monthly base salaries are prorated based on the number of units assigned and paid in six monthly payments for each full semester.
