- Explore competitive grant opportunities for summer activities and interdisciplinary projects on the campus sustainable garden and orchard.
- M.S. or equivalent in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agronomy, Pomology, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence with evidence of positive student evaluations.
- Evidence of experience or interest in serving a highly diverse student population.
- Practitioner candidates with effective teaching at community college or university levels.
- Proficiency in online instruction.
- Agricultural extension experience and a strong background in production/management of California crops.
- Familiarity with controlled environment agriculture platforms.
- Experience developing student experiential learning programs in high school or community college settings.
