The Department of Accounting & Finance invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning August 2027.

• Effective teaching and mentoring of students as they progress through their academic career. Teaching responsibilities for this position will be fulfilled primarily at our Turlock campus.
• A record of scholarship that will meet AACSB Scholarly Academic standards.
• Service to the Department of Accounting and Finance, the College of Business Administration, and the University.
• Academic year appointment; opportunities may exist for an additional Summer Session appointment.

Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting or a related field from an AACSB-accredited doctoral institution at the time of appointment.

• Ability and experience to teach a variety of accounting courses, especially in Intermediate Accounting.
• Interest in emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence and/or Data Analytics.
• Professional certifications and/or relevant industry experience.
• Commitment to conducting meaningful research, with demonstrated potential to publish in respected, peer-reviewed accounting journals.
• Evidence of successful and innovative teaching experiences at the undergraduate level and a commitment to support a diverse student body.

Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Anticipated hiring range is $10,386 - $10,915 per month for Assistant Professor (12 monthly payments per academic year). A competitive benefits package is offered.
