Position Summary
Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) is responsible for obtaining Securities Industry licenses and providing comprehensive financial guidance to clients at a Bank of America financial center.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and (or) Series 66 licenses within 120 days of hire, with SIE within 30 days.
- Receive training and coaching from Academy managers to develop consultative client relationships.
- Provide end‑to‑end comprehensive advice and client reviews/presentations to help clients achieve their financial goals.
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients with solutions available through Bank of America and Merrill.
- Build network by interacting with banking customers, small‑business owners and higher net‑worth clients.
- Progress from Stage I to Stage II upon meeting key milestones and continue to grow and deepen relationships within a portfolio of clients.
- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
- Self‑disciplined management of time and capacity.
- Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions.
- Success in creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
- Demonstrates a results‑driven mindset while prioritizing clients’ interest in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to new technology or applications.
- Holder of FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and a bachelor’s degree or minimum of one year in financial services industry or sales experience.

High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
ScheduleMonday – Friday and rotating Saturdays. 1st shift, United States of America. 40 hours per week.
CompensationHourly pay $28.85 – $33.65, base salary only, non‑incentive eligible. Pay is determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Legal and CompliancePosition is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements for residential loan mortgage originations. Employees must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in immediate termination. This role is also restricted by FDIC, Safe Act, Loan Originators, and FINRA regulations regarding hiring individuals with certain criminal histories.
