Seasonal Operator-& Shift

Perform duties specific to seasonal assignment.

Operate various equipment throughout plant including cheese manufacturing and packaging equipment.

• Ensure all equipment is operating properly.
• Perform cleaning of equipment and document results as necessary.
• Monitor the quality of product and report any issues to Lead person, QC Department and/or Supervisory staff promptly.
• Follow DFA’s GMP’s and work in a manner consistent with corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements.
• Maintain a clean work environment and perform clean‑up duties between shifts as required.
• Perform all work safely according to company policy, reporting an unsafe condition immediately.
• Responsible for monitoring and taking corrective actions when necessary for a critical control point as part of the plant HACCP plan.
• Ensure all documentation is done correctly and turned in promptly.
• Perform any other duties as required to meet production demands.

• 3pm & 11pm rotating shift.

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework, or undergraduate degree depending upon the internship or intern assignment.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

• Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

• Able to interpret and apply company policies.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to interact positively and work effectively with others (interpersonal skills).
• Able to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
