We are seeking an energetic, curious, and dependable Production Coordinator to support the daily flow of work through our manufacturing operation. This full-time, onsite role is responsible for working in our ERP system, managing work order activity, helping coordinate priorities on the shop floor, and supporting communication between production, operations, purchasing, engineering, and management.
Prior manufacturing experience is not required; the ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, attention to detail, and genuine interest in working in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities- ERP Work Order Management: Create, review, update, and track production work orders daily to ensure data accuracy, completeness, proper routing, and scheduling readiness.
- Shop Floor Flow & Prioritization: Monitor status, priorities, material availability, and production readiness to keep work moving smoothly through the shop floor.
- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Act as a central communication link between production, purchasing, engineering, inventory, shipping, and management to resolve delays and bottlenecks.
- Records & Reporting: Maintain precise production records, ERP transactions, status notes, and supporting documentation; generate basic reports on open/completed work and job progress.
- Continuous Learning & Process Improvement: Master internal manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities to refine daily communication, accuracy, and process execution.
Required:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mindset: High energy, curiosity, strong work ethic, and a clear desire to learn manufacturing workflows.
- Core
Skills:
Excellent organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and a structured problem-solving approach. - Technical Comfort: Familiarity with computers, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, email, and a willingness to learn specialized ERP software.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively across all teams—from shop personnel to executive management.
Preferred:
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, manufacturing technology, operations, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior exposure to manufacturing operations, production coordination, inventory control, scheduling, or ERP systems.
- Aptitude: Interest in mechanical systems, technical equipment, and process improvement methodologies.
- Ownership & Follow-Through: Dependable and committed to seeing tasks through to completion.
- Adaptable & Calm: Able to adjust priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment when production needs shift.
