Sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, based on technician level offered at time of hire.
The Technician I performs maintenance and repairs on class 8 equipment
Responsibilities
* Perform repairs on class 8 equipment within employee current skill level.
* Inspect equipment during the repair process to determine if additional repairs are necessary
* Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Covenant Transport Services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Own the tools required to perform the position responsibilities of this level excluding those provided by the company
* Understand, communicate, read, and write the English language
* Ability to Lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis and 95 lbs. on a frequent basis to mount tires
Education/Experience
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver's license required
