• Shipping and Receiving: Unload and load trailers, verify proper stacking and freight segregation (one item per pallet when required), tape or stretch‑wrap pallets to ensure product stability.
• Checking: Prior to storage, count and compare product against driver manifests, inspect for damage, infestation, and correct production codes. Report shortages, damages, and misplacements to the supervisor, move and stack product to designated areas, and verify receipt at proper temperature.
• Over, Short, and Damage: Identify and recover any received or shipped damage per company policy, reporting all shortages and overages to the area supervisor.
• Inventory: Assist in physical inventories using scanners, ensuring proper stock rotation by following lot‑number identification.
• Order Picking: Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct quantity, type, and lot numbers match picking documents while meeting customer service standards; pallets may reach up to 7 feet.
• Loading: Efficiently move product from staging or storage into railcars or trailers.
• Equipment: Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using forklifts, clamp trucks, slip sheets or other power equipment. Conduct daily inspections, maintain a neat, clean, orderly facility, and operate all equipment safely following prescribed methods.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Previous high‑reach forklift and/or warehouse training.

• Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Lift up to 70 lbs. with assistance occasionally.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
• Speak and hear for safety and productivity.
• Use scanners, tablets, radios, phones, and other warehouse equipment.
• Lift overhead.
• Work overtime as an essential part of the position.
• Drive a registered motor vehicle daily.
• Have acceptable or correctable vision.
• Work in temperatures ranging from +34 to –10°F with moderate noise.
• Communicate personally with high interaction.
• Good arithmetic and reading skills.
• Understand and follow verbal and written instruction and company policies.
• Be a self‑starter, able to work independently and coordinate with others.
• Manage stress and productivity in a fast‑paced environment.

• Maintain a professional appearance and communication at all times.
• Participate in staff and customer meetings if required.
• Prevent non‑conformities related to product, process, and quality systems.
• Identify and record any issues regarding product, processes, or quality.
• Recommend solutions through appropriate channels and verify implementation.
• Follow posted security procedures at all times.
• Follow all safety procedures at all times.
• Participate in safety and educational training.
