CDL A Driver - Hazmat

Our client, A supplier for welding products is seeking a CDL A Hazmat driver to join their team. As a CDL A you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of welding supplies to various locations. This role requires you to be detail-oriented, have excellent driving skills and commitment to safety and customer services, skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Turlock, CA

Pay Range: $26-$30/hr

• Safe Driving:
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Delivery and Pickup:
  • Load, transport, and deliver welding supplies, including gases, welding equipment, and related products to customers.
• Customer Service
• Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs, mileage, and any delivery issues.
  • Ensure all delivery documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies regarding driving and transportation.

• Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Class A driver, preferably in the welding supply or related industry.
• Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent driving record with a demonstrated history of safe driving practices.
  • Ability to operate and maintain various types of delivery vehicles.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
