Staff Accountant (Full-Time, On-Site)
Location: Tuscaloosa, AL

Our client is looking for a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting functions for a well-established, people-first organization. This is a great role for someone early in their career (0–2 years of experience) who brings a positive attitude and wants long-term stability and growth.

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, basic financial statements, and recurring filings
• Support payroll and benefits-related administrative tasks
• Handle bank reconciliations, deposit reporting, and account maintenance
• Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and general accounting projects
• Work closely with the Controller and a small, collaborative team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 0–2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; accounting software experience a plus
• Excellent attitude — positive, reliable, and team-oriented
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
