Construction Accountant​/Controller

Construction company seeking an experienced full-time accountant / controller . This position requires a high level of attention to detail, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

• Manage the timely payment of all payables.
• Manage all receivables and communicate any delays of payment to management.
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and job reports.
• Provide documentation and assistance in General Liability and Worker's Compensation audits.
• Additional miscellaneous duties that support accounting needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Prior accounting experience in the construction industry highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications & construction accounting software experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and high level of detail orientation with the ability to accurately prepare and enter information to meet deadlines and requirements.
• Ability to identify and solve problems efficiently and with good judgement.
• Ability to work in a team environment with strong people skills.
• Ability to act with the required discretion when managing confidential information.
