BC Construction Group is looking for a motivated Project Engineer to help support commercial, industrial, warehouse, distribution, and mission critical construction projects.

This is a field-based role. The right Project Engineer will stay closely connected to the project team, Project Manager, Superintendent, clients, design partners, subcontractors, and BCCG leadership through consistent communication, jobsite visits, and regular travel to the BCCG office and active projects.

This position is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in construction project management while gaining firsthand experience on complex projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Why This Role Stands Out

At BCCG, you are not just joining a construction company.

You are joining an employee-owned company through our ESOP, where the work you help build also helps create long-term value for the team.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants:

What You'll Support

Working alongside the Project Manager and field team, you'll help keep projects organized, moving forward, and well documented by supporting:

  • Owner, architect, engineer, and subcontractor communication
  • Coordination with Superintendents and field teams
  • Closeout documentation, punch lists, warranties, and turnover
  • Regular jobsite and office travel as needed to support project execution

We're looking for someone who enjoys staying organized, communicates well, follows through on commitments, and helps keep the project team ahead of issues rather than reacting to them.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Commercial or industrial construction experience preferred
  • Warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, mission critical, or large commercial project experience is a plus

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management software is a plus
  • A team-first attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Work Arrangement

This is a field-based Project Engineer role with travel to the BCCG office and job sites as needed.

Standard expectation is On-site every week, depending on project needs, meeting schedules, jobsite priorities, and team coordination.

Expected base salary range: $75,000–$100,000
, depending on experience and fit.

Additional Package May Include:
  • ESOP / employee ownership
  • Discretionary bonus potential
  • Vehicle allowance or travel reimbursement depending on role and project needs
  • Medical plan options
  • Dental and vision
  • Employer-provided short-term disability, long-term disability, and basic life / AD&D
