Video Editor; Gameplay Trailer

Responsibilities

• Editing a polished studio trailer using recorded gameplay clips from Forestly Games projects
• Selecting, cutting, and pacing clips to highlight gameplay, energy, and variety across games
• Syncing visuals to music, sound effects, and transitions for strong emotional impact
• Applying basic motion graphics, text, or overlays where appropriate
• Iterating on edits based on feedback from studio leads
• Ensuring the final trailer aligns with Forestly Games’ brand and tone
• Delivering a final export suitable for website, social media, and pitch use

• Time & Availability
• Video editing requires focused time and iteration
• Ability to commit consistently until the trailer is complete
• Video Editing Skills
• Experience with video editing software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Cap Cut, or similar
• Strong Sense of Pacing & Storytelling
• Ability to create excitement, clarity, and flow through editing choices
• Attention to Detail

• A strong portfolio piece, a polished studio trailer you can showcase
• Letters of recommendation from studio owners
• Hands-on experience creating promotional content for real Roblox games
