Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Customer Service Account Representative for a company based in Tuscaloosa,AL headquarters. In this role, you will be responsible for managing assigned customer and supplier accounts while coordinating the planning, execution, and tracking of shipments.

Pay Rate: $40K to $43K (depending on exceptional experience)

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 7 30 am to 5 00 pm (flex time option available)

• Monitor shipment activity, track load status, and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, and service-related issues.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure efficient logistics and transportation operations.
• Maintain and review logistics documentation, including Bills of Lading, shipping records, and related paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer and supplier accounts, providing proactive communication and status updates.
• Resolve customer inquiries, fulfillment issues, and transportation concerns while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate records, databases, and account information, ensuring proper documentation, follow-up, and reporting activities.

• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain coordination, or customer account management preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and departments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel)
