Job SummaryThe College Academic Records Manager provides student record oversight, degree auditing, registration assistance, and catalog preparation for a college.
Additional Department SummaryAssists students in the preparation and completion of degree programs within the College (core requirements, major requirements, concentrations, sequences, etc.). Keeps accurate and current data on all degree programs to ensure understanding among the College community related to policies, requirements, and procedures. Works to reduce time to degree and retain students. Meets regularly with prospective and current students to both share accurate information and solve problems.
Reviews all applications for graduation and ensure timely communication to students.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of academic advising or student academic record experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of academic advising or student academic record experience.
Skills and KnowledgeAbility to effectively communicate policies and information both verbally and in writing. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Good analytical skills. Ability to interpret and utilize data to solve problems, develop improved efficiencies, or eliminate barriers. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at one time. Understanding of student needs and student services.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with academic advising or registrar's office.
