Primary duties will include teaching accounting at the undergraduate and graduate level, engaging in a research program that results in published articles in outstanding scholarly publications and performing service as assigned by the Department, College, and University.

The Culverhouse School of Accountancy at the Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting beginning August 16, 2027. Primary duties include teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, engaging in a research program that results in outstanding scholarly publications, and performing service as assigned by the Department, College, and University.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

(1) A doctoral degree in accounting (in hand or completed by August 16, 2027); (2) a high-quality research agenda, and current working and / or published papers; (3) demonstrated excellence in teaching.
