Position SummaryThe Study Abroad Coordinator provides operational leadership for the planning, coordination, implementation, tracking, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the CCN study abroad program. This is a college only search.
Detailed Position Information- Coordinate the planning, implementation, and administration of CCN-sponsored study abroad programs.
- Maintain study abroad program timelines, records, and related documentation.
- Organize and facilitate all study abroad information sessions.
- Provide logistical and operational support to faculty leaders, including travel planning and program coordination.
- Coordinate student recruitment, outreach, and advising for study abroad opportunities.
- Support CCN participation in International Education Week and related global engagement activities.
- Track program participation, assessment data, and outcomes; prepare reports and recommendations to support continuous improvement.
- Convene and facilitate a task force of key stakeholders to coordinate global partnership visits and international exchange opportunities involving CCN.
- A. Earned doctoral degree in Nursing or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- B. Current, unencumbered Alabama registered nurse (RN) licensure or eligibility for multistate RN licensure in Alabama.
- C. Demonstrated experience with course coordination and management within the Blackboard Learning Management System.
- Experience coordinating projects, events, and complex initiatives with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are important.
- Experience collaborating with and coordinating activities among multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, correspondence, and other materials.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality, and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
