After Sales Engineer – Trillium Pumps Italy (Saudi Arabia)

After Sales Engineer responsible for providing advanced technical support, retrofit solutions development, and vibration analysis to maintain and improve customer relationships for Trillium products.

• Provide technical support to the AM Commercial Operations Team for new offers and participate in customer discussions and meetings, including in‑person visits when required.
• Execute feasibility studies for pump retrofits, considering hydraulic and mechanical aspects, and prepare preliminary drawings for customers.
• Follow guidelines from AM & Services Director and AM Engineering Manager to develop new aftermarket services, technical solutions for specific applications, and tools that facilitate retrofit quotations.
• Support Field Service teams during on‑site activities by offering technical guidance.
• Collaborate with the Commissioning Manager, Warranty Manager, and field service teams to define solutions and actions that resolve customers’ technical claims and conduct root‑cause analysis when required.
• Assist the Service Center with issue escalation, providing technical guidance for pump overhaul, maintenance, and retrofit projects.
• Perform high‑level vibration data analysis (spectrum analysis, time‑waveform, acceleration envelopes, orbit analysis) and provide feedback on the health of rotating machinery based on vibration and other instrument readings.
• Contribute to best practices for Field Service Engineers and Service Centers monitoring vibration and provide specific inputs for vibration analysis.
• Develop technologies and specifications for remote condition monitoring systems according to development schedules and targets.
• Train Field Service Engineers in basic vibration analysis and use of specific condition‑monitoring tools.
• Provide support on vibration‑related topics to other departments such as Engineering and R&D.

• Degree in mechanical engineering (master’s or bachelor’s preferred) with relevant experience in rotating equipment.
• Strong knowledge of centrifugal pumps and rotating machinery.
• Competence in mechanical engineering, 2‑D drawings comprehension.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including complex spreadsheets and macros.
• Experience with PTC Creo (3‑D and 2‑D).
• Familiarity with FEM packages such as PTC Symulate, Xlrotor, Mady, and Ansys is a plus.
• Programming skills for calculations and big‑data analysis (e.g., Scilab, Matlab, or equivalent) are a plus.

• Contribute with the employer, managers, and health & safety personnel to fulfill obligations for protecting health and safety in the workplace.
• Observe directives and instructions from the employer, managers, and safety authorities for collective and individual protection.
• Correctly use work equipment, dangerous substances and mixtures, vehicles, and safety devices.
