Senior Principal Mission Assurance Engineer – Safety & Reliability

Responsibilities

• Oversee all joint team efforts, including resource planning and coordination with other program leadership to produce team status and metric reporting.
• Attend iteration planning and coordinate planning for the team as needed.
• Participate in leadership meetings alongside other POs and the Technical Leadership team.
• Monitor team deliverables and non-deliverables to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Elevate challenges or findings through the proper channel.
• Update NT stakeholders on statuses.
• Manage obstacles that hinder the team’s tasks and deliverables.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering (preferred), Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master’s degree (preferred) in a related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a related discipline with 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start.
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time for business needs.
• Experience with generating proposals and BOEs.
• Understanding of C2
  
  BMC RAM requirements, customer deliverables, and other work products.
• Working knowledge of the C2
  
  BMC safety program, including related customer deliverables and other work products.
• Formal or informal team leadership experience, including coaching and providing performance feedback.
