At Remmert & Company, we're looking for a proven engineering leader who thrives on solving complex challenges, developing people, and driving operational excellence.
About the RoleThis isn't a position for someone who wants to simply maintain the status quo. We're looking for a leader who can guide and develop a team of approximately 12 Drafting and Engineering professionals, improve processes, increase efficiency, and help us continue our growth trajectory.
Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of drafting and engineering professionals
- Create accountability, drive performance, and build future leaders
- Improve systems, workflows, and productivity across the department
- Partner with project management, production, and operations teams
- Use your technical expertise to solve complex engineering and manufacturing challenges
- Help shape the future direction of our engineering team
You might be a Director, Engineering Manager, Design Manager, Drafting Manager, or Operations Leader who enjoys balancing technical excellence with people leadership.
Required Skills- Custom cabinetry and architectural millwork
- Woodworking manufacturing
- Engineered-to-order manufacturing
- Custom fabrication
- Specialty construction products
- Other complex manufacturing environments where every project is unique
Cabinetry or woodworking experience is preferred, but not required. We will strongly consider candidates from other engineered-to-order industries who have a track record of leading technical teams and driving results.
