Hexagon is seeking a General Ledger Senior Accountant who can maintain the integrity of the company’s financial records by managing complex, high‑level accounting tasks such as month‑end close, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance. The ideal candidate will contribute to financial reporting, analyze accounts to identify discrepancies, support audits, and collaborate with other team members. Strong skills in advanced Excel, ERP systems, and analytical problem‑solving are essential.

• Month-End Close & Reporting
  :
• Assist in the accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including preparing and posting journal entries (including, but not limited to, accruals, amortizations, intercompany transactions). Will also participate in uploading trial balance data from general ledger system to consolidation system, reconcile uploaded data between systems, and complete relevant closing schedules in consolidation system.
• Reconciliations & Analysis
  :
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and review reconciliations performed by peer team members. Analyze financial data for discrepancies and provide, or recommend solutions for, accounting issues.
• Audit & Compliance
  :
• Ensure financial records comply with US GAAP, tax laws, and internal controls; support internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience:
• Generally, 4–6+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years at a senior level.
• Technical

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with ERP systems like Dynamics Great Plains.
• Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
