Account Executive Hospice

Overview

A background in cold calling customers in pharmaceuticals, medical device sales, hospital, home health, hospice or long‑term care is ideal.

• Base salary between $75,000 - $80,000 (based on experience)

• Educate health care professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes and physician offices to generate leads.
• Coordinate patient admissions with the team, including obtaining all required documentation to complete referral-to-admission process.
• Conduct on‑site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care.
• Keep accurate records of patient interactions and referrals.
• Achieve admissions, product, and payer‑mix goals.
• Meet short and long‑term target account goals.
• Document the minimum expectation of sales calls daily in CRM (including pre and post‑call notes).
• Maintain a complete, up‑to‑date record of targeted referral sources in territory in CRM.
• Attend community events to promote Amedisys.
• Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least one year of experience in a healthcare related business development/outreach role. A bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.
• Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance.

Please note:

This role will travel 50% or more within the assigned territory.
