• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact State (no temporary licenses accepted)
• AHA or Red Cross BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred; candidates with at least 18 months of experience will be considered, including 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Ability and willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed (flexible travel nurse)
• Strong assessment, telemetry monitoring, and patient documentation skills

• Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care to trauma, surgical, orthopedic, and urology patients in a fast‑paced trauma surgical unit
• Monitor telemetry, recognize changes in patient condition, and intervene or elevate appropriately
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including family practice physicians, hospitalists, and surgical specialists
• Maintain an approximate 1:6 nurse‑to‑patient ratio to ensure individualized care
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the Meditech EMR
• Float to other units or hospitals within the system as required and adhere to hospital policies, dress code, and safety protocols

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
