SummarySenior Azure Consultant – design, deploy, and support Microsoft Azure solutions for clients. Work with stakeholders to build and operate cloud and hybrid environments, integrate Azure with existing infrastructure, document work and keep stakeholders informed throughout delivery. Operate with minimal supervision and act as a technical resource for one or more specified Microsoft solutions.
Responsibilities- Solution development and support across Microsoft Azure, including core compute, storage, networking, and platform services.
- Design, deploy, and manage identity services, including Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Microsoft Entra , and hybrid identity configurations.
- Integrate Azure environments with customer networks, including site-to-site VPN, Express Route, virtual network peering, DNS, and hybrid connectivity.
- Develop and maintain technical design artifacts and requirements documentation; document configurations and code standards for client environments.
- Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge‑base articles to capture repeatable patterns and improve delivery across the team.
- Communicate with clients as required: keeping them informed of project progress, impending changes, and agreed‑upon outages.
- Prioritize and maintain commitments and delivery dates for multiple projects and customers simultaneously.
- Perform job duties under minimal supervision.
- Stand as a technical resource for one or more specified Microsoft solutions.
- Based on technical resource specializations, other duties may apply.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS from a reputable institute, or related IT experience.
- 3‑5 years of related experience and advanced knowledge of Microsoft business solutions and related technologies.
- Ability to work independently and a strong desire for personal and professional development.
- Ability to identify and evaluate trends in industry best‑practice policies.
This position may involve access to information subject to U.S. export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Qualified applicants will be considered regardless of national origin or immigration status. Work is typically performed in an office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. The person in this position will often move about inside the office to escort visitors, deliver packages, etc. Occasionally operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and clients.
