We’ll help you grow professionally, find (or further) your passion, and make memorable connections that last beyond the summer.
The Industrial & IoT Division at SAS is a vertically integrated line of business charged with innovation: innovation in products and solutions and innovation around market engagement. We encompass R&D, Product Management, Industry Advisory and Product Marketing. We are looking for a curious and innovative candidate who believes that AI can make a real difference for IoT applications.
Within our Enablement team we are helping customers design modern, cloud‑ready AI architectures that connect devices, ingest high‑velocity streaming data, operationalize AI models, and deliver outcomes—like safety monitoring, asset health, and real‑time insights. We collaborate closely with field sales, consulting, R&D, and product management to turn business problems into scalable technical solutions.
As an intern, you might:
- Design, develop and document architectures and applications for IoT/realtime AI use cases, including Computer vision, GenAI and Agentic AI concepts and technologies
- Document best practices for architecture, model inferencing, including guidelines for fast, efficient deployment
- Develop and contribute to PoCs, demos and prototypes for IoT and streaming AI pipelines (e.g., MQTT, Kafka, API, sensors, video streams,…); help design Cloud and on‑premise architecture, processing and dashboards to showcase value and readiness.
- Create technical collateral (solution briefs, diagrams, demos) used by Solution Advisors in customer engagements.
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Industry advisory teams
- You’re an undergraduate college student enrolled in an accredited program studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, not graduating prior to December 2026.
