The University of Alabama is hiring a Programmer Analyst III. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting moderate- to high-complexity software and hardware systems for administrative functions, including enterprise applications. The position collaborates with various departments to develop processes, workflows, web applications, and integrates vendor software while addressing troubleshooting and customer support.
Highlights- Designs, develops, and codes software and hardware systems with moderate to high complexity.
- Supports enterprise and critical administrative applications, creating workflows and integrations.
- Collaborates with departments, colleges, and customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
- Supports Workday Financial Management, Supply Chain, Human Capital Management, and Payroll through integrations and reports.
- Leads small to moderately complex projects, mentoring team members and serving as liaison among developers, functional teams, and external partners.
- Required qualifications include a Master s degree with 2 years of IT programming experience or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
- Preferred skills include experience with Workday tools, JIRA, Boomi, IIS, Linux commands, XML, JSON, APIs, Power Shell, Python scripting, Git, and Power BI.
- Compensation range: $68,500 minimum to $89,100 midpoint (Salaried E11).
- Supports Office of Finance and Human Resources campus partners.
- Position duration linked to a transition project for ERP systems to a modern cloud platform, with possible ongoing employment.
