Banner ERP Functional Analyst
Job SummaryIn this position we are seeking into gage experienced Banner Functional/Data Analysts for one of their strategic Higher-Edu Customers. The analysts will provide functional, data, and operational support for the Ellucian Banner ERP system, with primary responsibility for the Student and Financial Aid modules and support for Human Capital Management (HCM) as needed.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include business and data analysis, requirements gathering, SQL-based data analysis, system testing, production support, documentation, issue resolution, reporting, and collaboration with functional and technical teams to support institutional initiatives, system enhancements, and ongoing operations.
- Business and functional requirements documentation.
- Data analysis, validation, and reporting support.
- SQL queries and data reconciliation.
- Testing support for upgrades and enhancements.
- Functional and process documentation.
- Production issue analysis and resolution recommendations.
- Knowledge transfer and documentation.
- Minimum of five years of experience supporting Ellucian Banner ERP.
- Demonstrated expertise with Banner Student and Financial Aid modules. Experience with Banner HCM is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Banner data structures and Oracle SQL.
- Experience in business analysis, system testing, and documentation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred.
