Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a mids shift position in Alabama, requiring an active AL or compact RN license and recent ED experience.
Responsibilities- Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Work schedule is 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
- Contract length is 13 weeks
- Patients present with a wide range of acute conditions and emergencies
- Meditech is the EMR used at this facility
- All Emergency Department RNs must complete an on-site test and an online pre-test as part of orientation
- Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules; no Health Stream modules required before start
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rates as travelers, with no distance restrictions
- Standard hospital dress code applies for the Emergency Department
- Active AL or compact RN license required; no pending or temporary licenses accepted
- No current or past license disciplinary actions permitted
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year recent Emergency Department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to successfully complete on-site and online pre-employment testing
- Submission must include current driver's license and license verification
