Description:
Our Emergency Department offers comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups. We are staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. The ED team is composed of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. The Emergency Department treats more than 60,000 patients per year. Our nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:1 with critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 on all other patients.
An associate degree in nursing is required. 2 years of experience is preferred; however, we will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license. Candidates must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty. This is a clinical position. EMR for this facility is Meditech. Scrub colors/dress code are solid navy. All applicants must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
