• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience
  - Required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in the specialty
  - Required
• Experience caring for post‑operative cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients
  - Required
• Experience with complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring
  - Required
• Critical care experience with adult and geriatric patients
  - Required
• Stepdown cardiac recovery experience
  - Required

• Active Alabama RN License or Compact RN License (Temporary licenses not accepted)
• Active NURSYS Verification

• AHA BLS or American Red Cross BLS
• AHA NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• AHA PALS (if working in pediatric unit)
