Emergency Department Registered Nurse
We are seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The candidate must be willing to float to other units and facilities as needed. Full-time options of 36 or 48 hours per week are available. Holidays and every other weekend are required. The Emergency Department provides comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups and is staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team.
The team is composed of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. The Emergency Department is a designated Level III Trauma Center and a Level II Stroke Center. We treat more than 60,000 patients annually. The nurse to patient ratio ranges from 1:1 for critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients. Candidates must have an associate degree in nursing.
Experience:
2 years License:
Registered Nurse license from the State or Compact license
Certifications:
AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, TNCC, SECURE on site Must-Have:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large hospital setting
- Trauma experience required
- Willingness to float to other units and hospitals
