Job Description:

The Emergency Room Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive emergency medical services to patients of all ages in a 54-bed state designated Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center. The facility treats over 60,000 patients annually. Nurses will be part of a highly trained team including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff, providing acute care and must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ER environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet the emergency needs of all patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

• Active AL or Compact RN License (No temporary licenses accepted).
• Minimum 18 months to 2 years of experience in emergency nursing under the highest level of active professional license.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree required.
• Certifications:
  
  AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.
