Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Day Shift)
Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Schedule: Day Shift | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Required
Contract Length: 13 Weeks | 36 or 48 Hours per Week
Join the Emergency Department team at a leading medical center in Tuscaloosa, AL. This facility serves as a state-designated Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center, providing high-quality emergency care to over 60,000 patients annually. As a travel ED RN, you’ll play a vital role in delivering critical care in a fast-paced environment and must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
Qualifications:Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Licensure:
Active RN License in the State of Alabama or Compact License (No Temporary Licenses Accepted)
Must be listed in NURSYS
Certifications – Required:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent via Red Cross
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
SECURE ON SITE (Must be completed prior to or during onboarding)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
Will consider applicants with 18 months of experience if at least 1 year is in ED specialty
