Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents under the direction of the RN and in accordance with state regulations

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Monitor residents' health status and report changes to the RN or physician

  • Perform nursing assessments and document findings accurately

  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning

  • Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards

  • Promote resident dignity, comfort, and independence

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide exceptional resident care

Qualifications
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

  • Ability to obtain South Dakota LPN licensure by endorsement (if licensed in another state)

  • Current CPR/BLS certification required

  • Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused

  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed

Contract Details
  • 3 to 6-month contract

  • Renewable based on performance and facility needs

  • Full-time schedule

  • Housing and meal stipend included

  • Start date available immediately
