Description:
Emergency Department Nurses must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Shifts available include 36 or 48 hours per week. Holidays are required as needed. Every other weekend is expected. The Emergency Department offers comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups and is staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet community needs. The ED team consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
The Emergency Department treats more than 60,000 patients per year. The Nurse to Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 with critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 on all other patients.
