Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Tuscaloosa County Jail.

What You'll DoProvide compassionate nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting

Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions

Administer medications and treatments as ordered

Respond appropriately to medical concerns and changes in patient condition

Communicate with providers and other members of the healthcare team Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Provide patient education and promote continuity of care Follow established clinical standards, policies, and procedures

Work collaboratively with healthcare and correctional staff Qualifications Current, unrestricted LPN license in the State of Alabama Current CPR certification

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a healthcare team Previous nursing experience preferred

Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required Your Schedule2 Twelve-Hour Day Shifts Per Week With more than 20 hours per week, this position offers the enhanced benefits package available to eligible part-time employees working 20+ hours.
