Part Time | 2 Twelve Hour Shifts Per Week | Days

20+ Hours Per Week

• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Respond appropriately to medical concerns and changes in patient condition
• Communicate with providers and other members of the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Provide patient education and promote continuity of care
• Follow established clinical standards, policies, and procedures
• Work collaboratively with healthcare and correctional staff

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the State of Alabama
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a healthcare team
• Previous nursing experience preferred
• Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required

2 Twelve-Hour Day Shifts Per Week

With more than 20 hours per week, this position offers the enhanced benefits package available to eligible part-time employees working 20+ hours.
