American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Acute Care Days position requiring AL or compact RN license and 2 years of specialty experience.
Details- Work across multiple Med/Surg Telemetry units including Heart/Stroke, Pulmonary, Oncology, and Subintensive Medical Unit
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 13-week assignment
- Patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6
- Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals
- Every other weekend required
- Uses Meditech EMR
- Active RN license (Alabama or Compact) in hand - no temporary or pending licenses accepted
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- ACLS certification preferred
- Associate degree in nursing required
- 2 years of overall specialty experience required; candidates with 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license and 1 year of recent specialty experience will be considered
- NURSYS verification required
- Provide acute care nursing services to Med/Surg Telemetry patients across various specialty units
- Holiday coverage required for all holidays
- Dress code requires solid navy scrubs
- Parking available on-site
- Local candidates accepted at the same rates with no mile restrictions
- Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules
