Shift: Day - 8x5 - 09AM
Description:The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or other authorized healthcare provider.
The LPN assists with patient assessments, administers medications and treatments within the scope of practice, monitors patient conditions, documents care, and supports the healthcare team in providing safe and effective patient care.
- Provide direct nursing care to patients according to established care plans.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition.
- Administer medications and treatments within the applicable scope of practice.
- Assist with wound care, dressing changes, specimen collection, and other clinical procedures.
- Observe patients for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the RN or provider.
- Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the applicable state.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current BLS certification from an approved provider.
