We’re looking for a hands‑on Quality leader to own and drive plant‑level quality performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. This is a high‑visibility role with full responsibility for the Quality Management System and team leadership.
What You Will Do- Lead site Quality strategy in partnership with plant leadership
- Act as the primary customer quality interface, ensuring expectations are met
- Own problem resolution (internal & external) using 8D and structured methods
- Drive customer scorecard performance and corrective actions
- Lead and develop the Quality team (daily operations, staffing, budget)
- Oversee Quality Systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and ensure compliance
- Support new product launches (APQP, PPAP) with customers and suppliers
- Lead audits (internal, customer, regulatory)
- Analyze quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Approve key quality documentation (Control Plans, SWIs, deviations)
- Ensure production readiness, validation, and error‑proofing (Poka‑Yoke)
- Own containment actions and ensure proper execution and closure
- Maintain authority to stop production for quality, safety, or risk issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field
- 7+ years in Quality within manufacturing
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 (Lead Auditor preferred)
- Expertise in core tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, GD&T
- Advanced problem‑solving skills (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.)
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
