Job Summary:

The Temporary Research Support assists in research work in support of a major research project which may include duties such as gathering, tracking and entering data, preparing support material, etc.

Department Summary:

Works alongside a staff member in the Center for Advanced Public Safety Department to enter, validate, and maintain Alabama roadway environment data infrastructure by determining route and intersection numbers from legacy PDF maps of the Alabama roadway network and transferring those values into an electronic map.

Required

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED and some experience related to the responsibilities of the assignment(s).

Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to work on a personal computer including Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to follow directions and perform tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Alabama roadway environment data.
