Job Summary:
The Research Assistant III assists with research work tasks of higher-complexity in support of a research project under minimal supervision. May assist with ordering equipment and supplies, set up of equipment, performing experiments, monitoring results, data collection, preparation of support materials, etc. May supervise students and/or other support workers assigned to the research project.

Department Summary:
Coordinates the day-to-day activities of the On Track to Wellness program. Communicates regularly with faculty, staff, students, and community partners. Prepares correspondence. Maintains records. Creates and maintains charts, graphs, tables, spreadsheets, and databases. Schedules calendar and meetings as requested on behalf of the Project Director. Coordinates events with community partners. Manages grant funds and keeps records of grant expenditures.
Required
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of research support experience; OR associate's degree and two (2) years of research support experience; OR bachelor's degree or higher and some research support experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent time management and organizational skills. Attention to detail and strong presentation and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills in virtual, phone, and in-person formats. Ability to interact with faculty, staff, students, and community partners with high professionalism and confidentiality. Proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Teams and the latest features of the Microsoft Office suite.
