With a strong focus on innovation, customer experience, and community, we’re on an exciting path of expansion — opening new stores and growing our market presence nationwide. We’re seeking a dynamic and results-oriented District Manager to lead our retail operations and drive growth across an assigned multi-state territory.
Position Overview:
The District Manager will oversee multiple retail locations within a defined territory, ensuring operational excellence, sales growth, and brand consistency. This individual will play a critical role in driving performance, developing high-performing teams, and supporting aggressive new store opening initiatives. The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing multi-unit retail operations for a mid-sized brand and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations
- Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales and profitability goals.
- Execute company operational standards, visual merchandising guidelines, and brand strategies across all locations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational best practices.
- Drive sales performance through strategic business planning, KPI analysis, and hands‑on leadership.
- Identify new market opportunities and support the development of territory growth strategies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to plan and execute new store openings, relocations, and remodels.
- Monitor regional trends, competitors, and customer feedback to optimize performance.
Talent Development
- Recruit, train, and retain top retail talent with a focus on building bench strength for future growth.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and performance excellence.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and succession planning for store leadership teams.
Operational Excellence
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (merchandising, marketing, HR, operations) to ensure flawless execution of initiatives.
- Manage budgets, expense control, payroll allocation, and inventory levels across the district.
- Maintain a strong presence in stores, visiting locations regularly to assess performance and identify opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
- 5–8+ years of multi‑unit retail management experience with a mid‑sized or specialty retailer.
- Proven experience in apparel, footwear, and/or accessories retail industries.
- Demonstrated success driving territory growth and overseeing new store openings
. - Strong business acumen, analytical ability, and understanding of retail KPIs.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
