America’s Thrift Stores is seeking a new Shipping/Receiving Team Member to join our dynamic team! We're looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced warehouse setting, value teamwork, and have a strong work ethic. Successful candidates will enjoy both indoor and outdoor work environments and are eager to contribute to a meaningful cause.

This role offers a unique opportunity to blend your passion for charity with your interest in retail.

• Accurately counts, weighs, and measures incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Ensures timely delivery of materials to the required locations.
• Records material movements and weights in the designated tracking system.
• Identifies and documents discrepancies, including shortages and excesses, and promptly reports issues to management.
• Safely operates material handling equipment while adhering to PPE guidelines.
• Provides assistance to customers or donors at the store donation center as needed.
• Performs additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math skills are essential.
• Must work well in a team-oriented setting.
• Must understand and follow company policies and procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Must be capable of maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Successful completion of background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• Frequently - Carrying up to 50 lbs., pushing and pulling up to 25 lbs., lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing up to 14-foot height, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, handling and smelling.
• Frequently - Walking on tile/concrete, bending, feeling, and reaching waist/overhead level.
• Continuously - Standing on tile/concrete, talking, seeing, and hearing.

• Mostly regular and weekend hours, occasionally working evenings and holiday hours as needed.
• Working environment includes inside of building with semi-controlled temperatures and outside conditions with varying weather and temperatures.
