** Security Officer - Corporate Patrol

** Tuscaloosa, AL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests and tenants with courteous, professional service. You will communicate clearly with site contacts, document observations, and respond to routine requests as part of a team that values integrity and teamwork.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail property, common areas, parking areas and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

+ Monitor entrances, corridors and high-traffic areas to help to deter unwanted activity, and report suspicious behavior per site policy.

+ Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate with property management and/or law enforcement as needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Having customer service experience is preferred.

+ Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
