Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care

Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse – Long-Term Care, travel assignment in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Start date May 18, 2026 for a 10-week contract. Weekly pay is $665-$697 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 each week. Shift is 3x12-hour nights. Assignment setting: skilled nursing facility providing long-term care.

• Provide direct patient care to residents within the LPN scope of practice in a long-term care setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, vital signs, and responses to treatments
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following facility policy and procedure
• Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and implement safety and infection control measures
• Recognize changes in condition and promptly report to the supervising nurse for ongoing care decisions

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Alabama or eligibility for licensure
• Ability to work 3x12-night shifts and maintain reliable scheduling in a long-term care environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Comfortable functioning in a fast-paced skilled nursing setting
