Registered Nurse - General Acute Care

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our acute care team. This role provides comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population within a dynamic hospital environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high‑quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

This position requires critical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self‑care techniques.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Respond to patient emergencies and provide immediate medical assistance.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Prior experience in an acute care setting.
• Certification in a relevant nursing specialty (e.g., Medical‑Surgical Nursing).

• Proficiency in performing physical assessments and interpreting diagnostic data.
• Knowledge of medication administration and potential side effects.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot common medical equipment (e.g., IV pumps, cardiac monitors).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Compassionate and patient‑centered approach to care.
