Licensed Practical Nurse

Cottage of the Shoals, a Genesis Health Care skilled nursing and rehab center, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care. In this role, you'll provide hands-on clinical services including medication administration, treatments, and monitoring, while supporting recovery and comfort for seniors and medically complex patients. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, contribute to care planning, and mentor CNAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents including medication administration, treatments, and monitoring vital signs
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and care plan implementation in coordination with the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, care provided, and resident responses in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Support RNs and physicians during evaluations, procedures, and changes in resident condition
• Educate residents and families on care plans, treatments, and health maintenance
• Promote resident safety, comfort, and dignity in a homelike environment
• Supervise and direct CNAs to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care
