Registered Nurse, RN

Cottage of the Shoals, a Genesis Health Care skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide resident-centered care for seniors and medically complex patients. In this role, you will deliver hands-on clinical care, including assessments, care planning, medication administration, and treatments to support recovery and quality outcomes in a homelike setting. You'll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, mentor support staff, and engage with families while upholding high standards of safety, dignity, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehab setting
• Complete assessments and contribute to individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and facility protocols
• Monitor resident conditions, document accurately, and report changes promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care
• Educate residents and families on conditions, medications, and care plans
• Uphold infection control, safety, and quality standards
• Supervise and support CNAs and other support staff as assigned
• Participate in shift reports, care conferences, and ongoing training
• Support a compassionate, resident-centered culture and regulatory compliance
